Fatty's Last Stand

This is the last stand to rival all last stands. This will put the most famous battles to shame– Custer against the Indians, the Spartans against Persia and the good ole O.K. Corral. Those were nothing compared to what I’m about to do.

This morning I had a face-off with Mirror-Me. I stepped through the looking glass and drew that proverbial line in the sand. She cannot continue to ruin my life. She cannot continue to control my future thinner, healthier me. She’s been dragging me down, making me depressed and destroying my self-esteem. Mirror-Me is going down.

She has won every battle I’ve waged. She beats me at my own game…she’s a crafty bitch. I have to….no, I NEED to win this time, because if I don’t…..I’m afraid I’ll continue to slid right into diabetes and heart disease. Those damn ailments are hiding around some dark corner with a big, giant net waiting to snare me.

See, the thing is, I’m pretty damn strong. I’ve done some gutsy things and came out glowing. This should be a walk in the park, but it’s not. So, I need to wage all out war. This is Fatty’s Last Stand and you’ve been warned Mirror-Me….I’m not going to give up and I’m not going to fail. This is me….reclaiming my life.
