Pet Problems

She was sorry, really she was. Allergies are just not something you expect a pet to have. Her neighbors knew Puff roamed the back yard...and, let's be real, the measly 12 foot tall wooden fence was more a gesture of goodwill than a real boundary. Keeping Puff confined to the yard was challenging to say the least! It wasn't her fault county requirements for property line fences were so minuscule.
And, really, the neighbors should have told her they got a new yappy, little dog - which they let scamper around the yard, just barking away. It was actually goading Puff! The yapping sounded like a squeaky dog toy, just begging to be chewed! She had NO IDEA Puff loved squeaky chew toys.
And, it certainly wasn't her fault the neighbors didn't replace that dangerous, old shake shingle roof. It really should have been done a long time ago, it's just common sense - they are such a fire hazard.
Ah, well, hindsight is 20/20, after all.
However, the upside was discovering Puff's allergy to dogs, all that hair took a week for Puff to cough up! Also, the appropriate amount of fire extinguishers were now within reach - just in case the neighbors decide to rebuild their house, and suffer a lack of good judgement by getting another dog.
Being the owner of a pet dragon has its challenges, but at least Puff’s sneezing is finally under control.
